  • Matthaei Botanical Gardens Trail – 1800 N Dixboro Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105
    Located near Ann Arbor homes for sale, the Matthaei Botanical Gardens Trail starts in those gorgeous gardens and ends at Parker Mill County Park. In between, you'll experience 2 miles of beautiful, well-maintained asphalt trails, and an ideal setting for anyone new to geocaching that still features plenty to see for more experienced treasure hunters. The trail is wheelchair accessible, and biking/inline skating are also allowed.

  • Border-to-Border Trail – 1010 W Huron River Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48103
    Looking for a geocaching trail where you can really stretch your legs? The Border-to-Border Trail has an entry point from Ann Arbor at the Barton Nature Area, along with other entry points in a variety of nearby communities. This trail features a little bit of everything, with asphalt, crushed stone, and boardwalk areas. The area of the trail around Barton Nature Area is especially scenic, with riverfront views and expansive natural areas to explore.

  • Lower Rouge River Recreation Trail – I-275 Metro Trail, North of Mich. Ave., Canton, MI 48188
    It's easy to find great trails close to Canton homes for sale, and the Lower Rouge River Recreation Trail is an excellent example of why that's the case. This trail runs along the river for four miles, with beautiful views of the water. Along the trail, you'll also find open meadows, forests, and plenty of great spots to stop for a selfie while you explore. At the far western end of the trail you'll find Heritage Park, which also includes a library, golf course, museum, and picnic areas where you can recharge.

    The Canton area features a wide variety of geocaching trails, and the ITC Corridor Trail branches off from the Lower Rouge River Recreation Trail to allow you to explore even more of the natural beauty in the area. This trail measures just under 3 miles, and features a crushed stone base. Turn your geocaching adventure into a full-day event by exploring multiple trails around Canton.

  • Hines River Park Trail – Michigan Ave., North of Elm St., Plymouth, MI 48170
    With more than 19 miles of trails to explore and easy access from Plymouth homes for sale, the Hines Park River Trail has everything you need to enjoy a full day of geocaching. This trail offers a little bit of everything, from riverfront views to a trip around the University of Michigan Dearborn campus. The whole trail is paved, so you can explore by bicycle, on skates, or with a leisurely walk. Stop at Hines Park along the way to enjoy picnic areas, a dog park, playgrounds, and scenic places to relax.
