Camping - Ann Arbor, MI - Remerica Hometown Realtors

Summer is finally here! After being cooped up at home for so long, our REALTORS® are ready to explore the great outdoor spaces the Ann Arbor area has to offer. Camping is one of our favorite ways to relax, destress, and spend some quality time with our friends and family. If you're hoping to pitch a tent and enjoy the warm weather, check out these five awesome campgrounds around town.

  • Bishop Lake Campgrounds – 5210 Bishop Lake Rd., Brighton, MI 48116
The Bishop Lake Campground is ready to welcome back visitors for the summer. With five trails ranging from 1- to 6-miles long, it's one of our preferred places to hike and mountain bike. What we really love about the Bishop Lake Campground is its inclusivity. There are handicap accessible trails, beaches, boat launches, a fishing pier, and modern restrooms, making it a convenient and easy way for the whole family to enjoy a night of camping.

  • Haas Lake Park – 25800 Haas, Northville, MI 48167
Are you dying to get out of the house and stay out for a few weeks? Then consider spending part of the summer camping at Haas Lake Park. Not far from Northville homes for sale, this family-oriented RV campground has everything you could wish for. A two-hole golf course, laundry facilities, general store, wireless internet, basketball courts, volleyball court, and more are yours to enjoy! With so much to do for the whole family, it's the perfect vacation that's not too far from home.

  • Island Lake State Recreation Area – 12950 Grand River Ave., Brighton MI 48116
Get away from it all and spend a few nights at the Island Lake State Recreation Area. This 4,000 square-foot park has traditional picnic shelters, volleyball courts, and opportunities for water activities, but its most unique feature is its shooting range. As one of the safest ranges in the country, you can enjoy the outdoors while sharpening your aim. As an added bonus, the hot air balloon port on-site allows you to watch balloons take to the sky during sunrise and sunset.

  • Murray Lake Rustic Campground – 6324 Bauer Rd., Brighton, MI 48116
If you're in the area shopping Brighton homes for sale, why not spend a few nights at the Murray Lake Rustic Campground so you can get to know the area? Tucked in the Brighton Recreation Area, there are miles of trail to hike and endless photo-ops for nature lovers. Rustic camping at its best, Murray Lake even allows you to bring your horse along for a quiet ride.
